Who we are

More than a heating and plumbing company.

SwiftHeat UK Group Ltd is an award-winning, family-run Welsh company based in Pontypridd, just outside Cardiff. We support homeowners, landlords, businesses and organisations across Wales and the wider UK with heating, hot-water and plumbing expertise.

Our team brings together more than 20 years’ combined industry experience. Appropriately registered Gas Safe and OFTEC specialists, skilled installers and a dedicated commercial team allow us to take on work ranging from routine boiler care to complex heating installations and multi-property planning.

What connects those services is a simple principle: Assess First. Recommend Second. We take time to understand the property, the existing system and the customer’s priorities before proposing work. That leads to clearer choices, better value and fewer decisions made under pressure.

Our promise—The Heart of Your Home, in Expert Hands.—reflects how we see the work. Heating and hot water affect comfort, health, daily routines and household budgets. Technical quality matters, but so do communication, respect for the property and support after the installation.

01 • Evidence

Diagnose before deciding

We use the system history, technical checks and property context to build recommendations that can be explained.

02 • Respect

Care for people and homes

Clear appointments, honest expectations and careful workmanship are part of the service—not optional extras.

03 • Future

Improve in the right order

We help customers coordinate maintenance, efficiency measures and future low-carbon upgrades sensibly.

Leadership & culture

Experienced leadership. Accountable engineering.

Experience shaped by demanding engineering environments.

Managing Director Tristan Jones brings more than 16 years of experience across oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, nuclear and steel-manufacturing environments. His career includes helping to develop a specialist training centre for hazardous-area electrical CompEx training, working with private high-voltage electrical networks up to 132 kV, and contributing to multimillion-pound commercial projects across wind farms, standby-generation sites and process-manufacturing facilities.

That background shapes a culture of planning, technical discipline and accountable decision-making at SwiftHeat UK.

Co-founder and Principal Engineer Kieran Heycock leads engineering delivery with an emphasis on workmanship, diagnosis and systems that perform as intended after handover. Together, the leadership team combines commercial direction with practical technical oversight.

SwiftHeat UK is also Disability Confident Committed. We want customers and colleagues to be treated with dignity, and we continue to improve how our communication and working practices support different needs.

What we do differently

We look at the complete route from energy to comfort.

A boiler or heat pump does not work alone. Pipework, circulation, radiators, underfloor heating, water quality, balancing, controls, zoning, hot-water demand and the building fabric all influence the outcome. Our holistic approach considers those connections rather than treating the heat source as an isolated box.

That can mean identifying a poorly balanced system before recommending a larger boiler, checking radiator output before lowering temperatures, or improving controls before asking the customer to fund major work. For a heat-pump transition, it means understanding heat loss, emitters, hot water, space, electrics and how the household actually lives.

Not every home needs every improvement. Our role is to distinguish essential work from useful opportunities and longer-term choices. Customers receive plain-English reasoning so they can decide with confidence.

A SwiftHeat UK innovation

Boiler Management Condition Reports

Heating decisions are often reactive. A breakdown happens, information is incomplete and the customer must choose quickly between another repair and a replacement. Our Boiler Management Condition Report creates a more structured alternative.

The assessment brings together accessible evidence about the boiler and wider heating system: condition, performance, recurring faults, controls, circulation, heat delivery, water-quality indicators and maintenance history. Findings are organised into immediate concerns, planned actions and future improvement opportunities.

A report does not automatically recommend a new boiler and does not replace statutory safety checks or a building survey. Its purpose is to help homeowners, landlords and property managers understand risk, spend in the right order and prepare for upgrades. Explore Boiler Management Condition Reports →

Rooted in our region

Proud to be associated with Cardiff City Football Club.

SwiftHeat UK is proud to be associated with Cardiff City Football Club. Our presence includes LED perimeter displays across three sides of Cardiff City Stadium during matches, bringing the brand closer to supporters and the communities we serve.

The association is a source of pride for a Welsh business built just outside Cardiff. It also carries responsibility: every customer who discovers SwiftHeat through the stadium should receive the same welcome, careful assessment and straightforward advice as an established customer.

We describe the relationship accurately and do not speak on behalf of the club. For SwiftHeat, it represents local ambition, shared identity and a commitment to earning trust beyond matchday. See our Cardiff City supporters section →

Complete support

Services for the present system and the next one.

Our services cover gas, oil and LPG boiler installation, servicing, repairs and diagnostics; combi conversions; landlord records; full central-heating systems; radiators; power flushing and water treatment; smart controls including Hive, Tado, Nest and compatible OpenTherm solutions; underfloor heating; unvented cylinders; air source heat-pump assessment and installation through the appropriate MCS route; plumbing and bathroom work; and support for landlords and commercial customers.

We work with established manufacturers including Worcester Bosch, Viessmann, Vaillant, Baxi, Ideal and Navien. The recommendation is selected around the home, access to service and support, suitable controls, warranty terms and the customer’s priorities—not simply the badge on the casing.

Flexible finance may be available on eligible boiler installations through Humm Group Limited over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months at 0% interest, subject to application, status, affordability, eligibility and Humm’s terms. We explain the SwiftHeat specification and charges before the customer applies directly.
